Ashtanga Yoga

Posture, breath and control

The teaching of Ashtanga Yoga uses the breath connected to movement (vinyasa) in order to cleanse the body, making it strong and healthy. But it is above all the nervous system and the mind that are respectively purified through these three tools (tristana) of joint attention: Asana (the postures of the body), breath and Dristhi (control of the direction of the gaze).
The body is greatly strengthened, lightens considerably and becomes super flexible. The mind, on the other hand, calms down, the stress disappears permanently and the ability to concentrate increases.

Yoga Therapy

Better health

Yoga considers Man in his totality, in his richness of expression, fullness and complexity and not as a single flat dimension. While any type of yoga can bring health benefits, Yoga Therapy involves using a variety of yoga practices to try to improve a health condition or to facilitate a natural process, such as pregnancy or menopause. Among the yogic tools used therapeutically are Asanas (physical postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and guided imagery. Therefore a practice of help is born, especially for those who have particular needs and need to specific adaptations of the practice.

Hatha Yoga

Awareness of one's own energy

Literally "yoga of effort", often also translated as "yoga of the sun and the moon", it includes the practice of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), mudra (gestures), bandhas (energy valves) and purification techniques. The emphasis is on awareness of the energy body and on the awakening and control practices of vital energy. Through these means, the method aims at a transformation of the psychophysical system and by “effort” we mean the radical modality in which this incisive change of course takes place.
